If you suspect someone you know is guilty of animal cruelty there’s a lot you can do. Before you jump the gun and get the law involved consider taking one of the following steps to begin with:
Talk to the Person: It’s possible this person doesn’t even know they’re doing anything wrong. Talk to them and offer solutions, say, if they constantly leave the dog home alone tell them to look into homesecuritysystems.com or if they chain him up give them contact info for local dog walkers.
Call the ASPCA: The ASPCA is all about protecting animals and they can usually at least point you in the right direction if not help themselves. They’ll likely send someone out to the person’s home to check on the conditions and monitor it for further infractions before they get the law involved.
Offer to Adopt: As a last resort offer to adopt the dog you suspect is being mistreated. Perhaps the owner just can’t give it the care it deserves but it doesn’t want it to go to a kill shelter – offering it a loving home is a great first step.

For those who want to volunteer and foster animals here is what you need to do; in order to be the main caregiver you must be 18 years old. People under the age of 18 years old can help the animals at their homes and some schools will use that for school credit.

Being in the local area, there are several places where you can foster an animal. People can start by going to the humane society or local shelters. You can also look up fostering animals online, but those require you to be local or some should consider some places maybe long distance.Additional information can be found at http://doggies.com/blog/2011/09/01/puppy-mill-owner-dies-leaves-hundreds-of-animals-in-dallasft-worth/.

Fill out the application, when filling out the application tell the shelter or organization about you and then submit an application.
After completing the application, once it is turned in an approved. Most organizations and shelters require those who are becoming a foster parent for animals to attend orientation. Attending orientation will teach you what the organizations and shelters are all about, what their policies are and their history.

Complete the training process. Every shelter and organization will require training and in order to become a foster parent for animals you most complete the required courses. The shelters or organization that you are applying for should be able to work around your schedule, so you can complete training.

Animal cruelty is a very serious problem that seems to be occurring more often. Each year, millions of animals die as a result of being abused. What is is really sad is that in many cases, animals are abused by their own owners. Parents can help stop this problem by explaining to their children early on that animal cruelty is wrong. Children are taught at a young age that they are to treat people the way that they want to be treated. Parents need to explain to their children that even though animals are not people, they still deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

Parents also need to explain to their children the devastating effects of animal cruelty. Children should be told that there are many animals who died needlessly because of animal cruelty. Parents also need to explain that animal cruelty is a senseless crime that breaks the heart of many people. If children understand how serious animal cruelty is, they will be less likely to abuse animals.

Animals deserved to be loved and respected just like humans do. Animal cruelty is a gross crime that can stop with proper education. People also need to make sure that children are educated.

It breaks my heart when I hear of any animal being abused. Almost daily, we view tragic pictures in the news of animals, which have been deprived of food and water, or left in cages filled with their own waste. I have seen horses with their ribs sticking out, barely able to stand up. Puppy mills spring up overnight when people discover an easy way to make money. It amazes me that humans can be so uncaring and mean to other living creatures, who can be so loving if given half a chance. Is this new to you? Catch up here

All children desire pets and are told how to take care of them by their parents. What happens to some of these so-called pet owners? Pets are not something to throw away and forget about when you are tired of them. They come with responsibility. Some of this abuse might be remedied by having these abusers volunteer at shelters, caring for animals and donating their time, energy, and even dollars for an animal-s welfare. Veterinarian offices, pet rescuers, humane societies, wildlife officers, and many other organizations could benefit from work done by volunteers. What these forced volunteers would learn could never be measured in dollars and cents.

Many people have pet preferences. While some prefer felines other may prefer dogs and do like to deal with cats. Some like both. Yet others like to keep fish, snacks and other creatures such as spiders. After all a pet is a pet, right?

We are going to talk about the two most common pets that people tend to take into their homes and care for, namely dogs and/or cats.

Once one has grown attached to their pet they are now family. They are loved as deeply as any family member could be loved.Didn-t catch that? This explains it. Many pets have special things such as toys, pillows, blankets, a place to bed down, and special feeding dishes. These are the lucky pets.

While these pets have it really good there are the others that are strays. Many have been born in the wild and many have been abandoned. These are the ones that lack human companionship and love. No one can rescue all animals but many people certainly do their share and try to do what they can.

Volunteer time at your nearest animal shelter or humane society. Enter into the animal rescue arena and try to place a loving animal in someone-s home.
